We have purchased a two-family semi-attached house located at 40-20 47th Avenue (corner of 41st Street). Everything that can be done, is being done to expedite the necessary rennovations and ultimate move into our new home. Since the building, which is currently zoned as a residence, is being converted for use as a place of public assembly, there are requirements that must be satisfied. In addition to complying with Building Department and Fire Department safety regulations, we also need to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act. These challenges would have needed to be addressed for any location selected for our new home. Although there is a cost associated with making these rennovations, and time required to implement them, we are sure no one can object to making sure our new home is as safe as possible, while offering accessibiliuty for those with special needs. Shabbat services begin at 10 A.M. Please plan to join us.
